Robotics engineering centers on motion planning and kinematics — computing how joints must move so a robotic arm reaches a desired position and orientation in space. This simulator covers both forward kinematics (given joint angles, find the end-effector pose) and inverse kinematics (given a target pose, find the joint angles), the two foundational problems of robot arm control. Drag the end-effector target to see joint angles update in real time.
