Manipulate temperature and concentration to extract rate constants and reaction orders from concentration-time data.
What you can do in this simulation
- Choose first-, second-, or zero-order reactions and observe characteristic concentration-time curves
- Vary temperature and extract activation energy from ln(k) vs. 1/T Arrhenius plots
- Add a catalyst and see activation energy decrease while the rate constant increases
- Determine reaction order graphically using integrated rate law linearization
- Compare half-lives for different reaction orders as initial concentration changes
