Particle Physics Simulator — Collider & Detector Events
This particle physics simulator visualizes high-energy collision events inside an animated detector with concentric rings. Four event modes are available: photon pair production into electron-positron, electron-positron annihilation into two photons, pion decay into muon and neutrino, and Z-boson resonance at ~91.2 GeV producing quark jets. Charged particle tracks curve in the applied magnetic field, and particle trails and labels are drawn on the dark canvas with live stats showing beam energy, B field, event count, and particle count.
What you can do in this simulation
- Select from Pair Production, Annihilation, Pion Decay, and Z Resonance event modes
- Adjust beam energy (0.1–100 GeV) and magnetic field (0–4 T)
- Watch charged particle tracks curve in the detector magnetic field
- Observe labeled particle trails with event and particle counters
- Pause and reset to study individual collision events
