Inclined Plane & Friction Simulator: Will the Block Slide?

This inclined plane simulator makes the classic block-on-a-ramp problem hands-on. Raise the angle and watch gravity's pull split into a component along the ramp (mg·sinθ, which drives sliding) and one into the ramp (mg·cosθ, which sets the normal force and hence friction). The block stays put while static friction μs·mg·cosθ can match the drive, and slips the instant the angle passes the critical angle θc = arctan(μs) — a value that depends only on the surfaces, not the mass or the planet's gravity. Live force arrows (weight, normal, friction) update as you drag the sliders, a force-balance card compares the driving force with maximum static friction, and once the block slides it accelerates at a = g(sinθ − μk·cosθ). A predict mode asks you to call slide-vs-stay before releasing.
